KIBOT is multi-axis welding robotic system. with arms moving in horizontal plane and robust construction with precision guides. It achieves high speed and accuracy thanks to digital servo-controlled motors.


The jointed two-link arm covers a 360° area around the robot base without any blind-spots to reach. While the linear vertical axis provides high access equally at any point of the robot’s work-area. The tool center point (TCP) optimizes the robot motion to a minimum reaching the desired position in the work space. The unique kinematics offer unmatched reach and versatility for any welding application.


The electrical cabinet (robot controller) has been integrated in the robot base to minimize floor space requirements. The hollow wrist design of the 3-axis rotational arm grants high flexibility of the welding torch position.


Application

The KIBOT welding robot is a SCARA-type robotic system with parallel rotary axes. It has a cylindrical working envelope, with a reach radius of up to 3,000 mm depending on the model, provided by the two rotary axes, and a vertical travel range of 1,000 to 2,000 mm provided by the linear axis.


Its unique design allows 360° of movement around the robot's base, creating multiple work areas. The three rotary axes used to rotate and tilt the welding torch offer virtually unlimited possibilities for welding all types of joints in all welding positions. The robot is equipped with fully digitally controlled axis motors.


The electrical cabinet (robot controller) is integrated into the robot's base to minimize floor space requirements. The hollow design of the wrist on the three-axis rotary arm provides a high degree of flexibility when positioning the welding torch.
